About Jules Solutions

Your first AI workflow, set up and handed over.

We work out what AI can prepare in your workflow (A workflow specifies what information goes in, what happens to it and who checks the result.) and who checks the result.

Jules Solutions is a sole proprietorship in Meggen, Switzerland. Its legal details are in the imprint.

Jules and his work

What Jules automated in his own trading business.

Jules automated recurring steps in his own urea supply chain from Indonesia to Europe. He knows the paperwork involved in trading from his own work.

Other traders took an interest in his system. Jules began offering this work to other traders.

Co-founder

Ole Lobato

Co-founder, investor and AI early adopter

Ole is an entrepreneur and CEO with more than 20 years of international business experience. He has worked hands-on with generative AI since late 2022 and today integrates AI directly into real business operations.

From building custom AI workflows to automating parts of logistics functions, he brings practical experience focused on one question: Does AI create measurable business value?

From our work

From the inbox to the company website.

A project at Synsol AG, an anonymised client project and our platform (The AI agents we build for your firm run on our platform. We host the platform in Switzerland; external models may process data elsewhere.). We give the source for each figure.

  1. Our co-founder’s firm

An owner’s desk: invoices, deals and the inbox

The checklist for a sea import has 34 steps. The agent may handle 23.

Synsol AG is a Swiss commodity trading firm run by our co-founder Ole. There, AI agents (An AI agent carries out several steps of a defined task. A person decides before it sends anything outside your firm or spends money.) assist the owner with his inbox, supplier invoices and trades. They run on his computer, alongside the firm’s existing databases and mailboxes.

    • Supplier invoices move from email to a payment file for the bank. They are not booked until the owner approves them.
    • A person still takes out the insurance and checks whether payments have arrived.
    • Each database change is logged line by line. Both databases are backed up hourly during the working day.

The case study: from inbox to booking

Built between 11 February and 24 March 2026. The owner uses the desk daily for the firm’s trading administration.

Step counts from the deal checklists in the code, March 2026.

  2. Client project, anonymised

    A company website, rebuilt

A website in four languages that the firm can update itself

Product pages show what the firm offers. A three-step quote request collects the details the sales team needs to prepare a quote.

    • The site assistant replies in text or by voice. If a conversation suggests a potential customer, a model summarises and scores the enquiry, then emails the details to the firm.
    • We replaced seventeen stock photos with images that fit the firm’s style.

We built and launched the site between 5 February and 30 March 2026.

The 117 commits are recorded in the project’s version history, 5 February to 30 March 2026.

  3. Our platform

    The platform behind our setups

Tasks, documents and AI agents in one place. A person decides which messages go outside your firm and what money is spent.

With Pro Setup (Pro Setup is our recommended package at CHF 1'490.–: vault, workflows with AI agents, first integrations, an introduction session and three months of Business seat.) and Operator System (Operator System is our package for teams at CHF 3'500.– to 5'000.–: the shared base with workflows for the team and connected systems.), the Business seat (The Business seat is one person’s access to our platform (open alpha); Pro Setup includes three months, and with Operator System it is six per person.) for the platform is included for the first months. After that it costs CHF 199.– per person per month (CHF 169.– billed yearly) if you keep using it.

    • Each AI agent has its own task and can work alone or with other agents. Every run is logged.
    • When you ask about your documents, the platform shows the passages supporting its answer.
    • Before an agent sends a message outside your firm or spends money, a person must approve the action.
    • The log (A log records what a program or an AI agent did and when, so that afterwards you can trace who triggered what and what happened.) records requests and changes. For each change, it shows the state before and after.

We use the platform ourselves. It is still in open alpha (Open alpha means the platform is at an early stage: we use it ourselves, and it changes all the time.).

According to the release log of 30 September 2026, 2,616 tests passed and none failed. They cover 52 per cent of the code.

All three projects are described on jules.solutions. We name clients only with their consent.

How we work

Clear rules for AI, data and tool choice

These rules apply whichever package fits your workflow.

Jules sketches gears in a notebook under a desk lamp.
  • Check existing tools first

Before installing anything new, we look at the tools you already have. An Excel macro might be enough for a particular step. We start with a small setup and review what is still needed two weeks after handover.

  • People approve the action

AI can read details and prepare a message. Nothing we build sends a message outside your firm or spends money without a person making the final decision.

  • Documented and handed over

Your working files live in the installed vault (The vault is a folder of your working files on your computer; we create it from the vault template.) on your own machine. We document the setup and hand it over to you. You pay once for the setup; model usage (Model usage means accessing an AI provider’s language model. The cost is not included in the setup price.) and other licences may cost extra.

  • Not every step needs AI

We agree what the workflow needs to produce and who checks the result. Only then do we decide whether it needs AI.

  • Your people can use it

We show your people how to use the installed tools on their own work. We record solutions to recurring tasks in the system so your team can use them again.

  • Tool choice stays open

We do not prescribe an AI harness (An AI harness is the workspace on your computer in which AI reads files and carries out agreed steps.), model or provider. Claude Code (Claude Code is an AI harness made by Anthropic: it runs on your computer, reads files and carries out steps you describe in plain language.) is one option. We choose based on your workflow and requirements.

Working together

Choose how involved you want to be in the setup

We agree the goal, limits and handover. You can leave the setup to us or work with us on your workflow.

Jules types on a laptop in the light of a desk lamp.

Set up for you

You set the goal and limits. We install the system.

We agree what should work, which data may be used and who approves the output. We then install the agreed workflow, test it and document the handover.

This suits you if

  • you know what the result should be
  • you can define the workflow’s boundaries
  • you want us to handle the setup

Built with your team

Your people check the workflow as it takes shape.

Your team tests the workflow with its own documents and shows us what is missing. At handover, we explain how to use the system.

This suits you if

  • your team will use the system after handover
  • the workflow is still changing
  • you want your team to understand how it works

Automation with clear limits

Autonomy must be earned, not assumed.

We agree what AI may suggest, which internal steps it may handle and where your people must approve the action.

AI suggests details, people check them

  1. Level 1One possible starting point

    Check suggestions

AI reads a document. Your people check the suggested details, then accept or correct them.

  2. Level 2One possible starting point

    A person approves

AI prepares a draft. A person checks it and decides whether to use it.

  3. Level 3

    Semi-autonomous

AI handles clearly defined internal routine cases. A person reviews exceptions.

  4. Level 4

    Autonomous

AI handles a clearly bounded internal workflow and logs the steps.

  5. Level 5

    Learns from corrections

The system records your team’s corrections. These may help with later tasks; it does not change its rules without review.

AI handles internal steps, people approve external actions

A person makes the final decision on messages outside your firm, spending and other actions with real-world effects.

FAQ

Who builds your setup, and what happens after handover?

Who is accountable for the work?

Jules is accountable for the work of Jules Solutions. He maps your workflows and directs the AI agents that build the system. Read more about our approach on the ‘About us’ page.

Do we need our own IT team?

No. We install the agreed setup and show your people how to use it. The handover document (The handover document records what we set up, how you work with it and how you back it up and restore it.) records what was installed and how the tools work together.

How much time should I allow?

The interview starts with five short questions, then up to ten about your task; how far you go after that is up to you. You can stop any time and continue later. A call with Jules takes 20 minutes and is free.

Handover takes about 1 day for Basic Installation (Basic Installation is our smallest package at CHF 490.–: an installed AI harness, a vault template and one or two basic workflows on your computer.), about 1 to 2 weeks for Pro Setup and about 3 to 6 weeks for Operator System. The quote fixes the date, so you know it before work begins.

What happens after handover?

For the first two weeks, your staff check every draft, internal ones included. Anything that goes outside your firm still needs a person’s approval (Approval means a person decides before an AI-prepared message goes outside your firm or money is spent.) after that. Before handover, we test the workflow with data agreed in the quote and, with your permission, on a sample of your documents.

Two weeks after handover, we review how the setup works in daily use and what needs adjusting; for Basic Installation, this is a single check-in. At this review, we measure the figure we recorded with you at the start a second time. Pro Setup includes 30 days of follow-up support (Follow-up support means that questions and adjustments by email and phone are included for 30 days (Pro Setup) or 60 days (Operator System) after handover.) and Operator System 60 days: questions and adjustments by email and phone.

After that, you can take out ongoing support (A retainer is a separate agreement for support after the included follow-up support, at CHF 500.– to 2'000.– per month.) as a separate agreement, at CHF 500.– to 2'000.– per month. It covers monitoring, basic maintenance, updates and one-to-one technical help within reason, such as finding a setting, getting something unstuck or giving advice.

Before handover, the checklist ‘Five questions before you commission AI automation’ helps you agree who looks after what afterwards.

Can AI send messages or make payments?

Not without a person’s approval. Nothing we build sends a message outside your firm or spends money before a person has made the decision.
