Definition

Claude Code is a program by Anthropic, the company behind the Claude (An AI assistant is a chat program such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity: you write in plain language, and a language model answers.) models. It usually runs on the command line, reads and edits the files in a folder and carries out steps you describe in plain language. Using it requires an Anthropic account.

What it means for you

Claude Code is an option, not a requirement: we choose the AI harness, model and provider with you. With Basic Installation (Basic Installation is our smallest package at CHF 490.–: an installed AI harness, a vault template and one or two basic workflows on your computer.) we install an AI harness; Claude Code is one possible choice.
