Way 05 · Own It

Someone who sees how the pieces fit.

We stay involved and help you make informed choices as things evolve.

What it is for

  • ‘Who handles changes after handover?’

  • ‘We want someone who answers for it every month.’

  • ‘Nobody quite knows who can access what.’

  • ‘We are not sure where our AI requests are processed.’

What we do

We explain what matters, you work with it, and we handle all the annoying things.

  1. Ongoing technical direction

Someone who knows your system stays on it. We keep it running and improve it as your work changes.

  2. Architecture and vendor reviews

At an agreed cadence we look at the whole: what still holds, what costs more than it brings, and which provider still suits you. We push no provider and no technology on you.

  3. AI and automation strategy

Whenever the question is about AI, you ask us. We help you decide what gets automated next and what stays with your people.

  4. Agreed support and improvement priorities

What we take on, what stays with you and what gets improved next is in writing.

The services in detail

You want someone who answers for it every month. These services keep going: we take it on and keep it running.

  1. Ongoing technical direction

    Care after handover

First the follow-up support (Follow-up support means that questions and adjustments by email and phone are included for 30 days (Pro Setup) or 60 days (Operator System) after handover.), then the support agreement (A retainer is a separate agreement for support after the included follow-up support, at CHF 500.– to 2'000.– per month.). So someone who knows your system stays on it.

    You get

    • Monitoring and basic maintenance
    • Updates
    • One-to-one technical help within reason

    What we need from you

Something we set up or built and handed over to you.

  2. Architecture and vendor reviews

    Accounts with your providers

Your subscriptions and accounts with AI providers (An AI provider runs language models and sells access to them, for example OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude) or Google (Gemini).), Google, Microsoft and others, run for you. You get the capacity and the commercial terms without managing any of it.

    What we need from you

A signed agreement on who owns each account if we part ways. Where the lock-in is greatest, the exit has to be clearest.

  3. Architecture and vendor reviews

    AI where you choose

Your AI runs where you decide: in an EU or Swiss cloud (The cloud means computers in a provider’s data centres on which programs run and data is kept, instead of on your own device.) region (For cloud providers, a region is the area where the data centres that process your data are located, such as the EU or Switzerland.) where the provider offers one, on our hardware in Switzerland or on a machine of your own in your office.

    What we need from you

Knowing which rules actually bind you. Finding that out is half the work.

  4. Agreed support and improvement priorities

    Credentials and access

One place for your organisation’s credentials, and someone who answers for it after the setup too.

    You get

    • Clear rules on who can reach what
    • Joiners and leavers handled properly
    • Passwords and keys kept somewhere safe

    What we need from you

A decision-maker who can actually change how your people log (A log records what a program or an AI agent did and when, so that afterwards you can trace who triggered what and what happened.) in.

Example

An example follows once Jules has signed it off.

A deal, screened and screened again

An example, not a client case

Who on a deal is on a sanctions list can change after it closes: a new listing, an amendment to the credit, a gap in the ship’s signal, a new flag, name or owner.

Own It (Own It is one of our five ways of working: someone who stays on and sees how the pieces fit.) here means the screening runs again on every change, every screening is kept with the deal, and someone who knows the system stays on it. Because you will be asked.

And the Setup?

Needs a Setup or Build It

Own It needs a Setup or the handover from a Build It (Build It is one of our five ways of working: build what does not exist yet, around the way your work actually happens.): we look after what we set up or built and handed over. It is the care that follows, with follow-up support, the support agreement, updates and continuity.

The foundation: three packages

What you end up with

A written agreement on responsibilities, cadence and boundaries, and someone who stays on it.

Price

By scope. Responsibilities, cadence and price are in writing before we start. The support agreement runs monthly, with one month’s notice.

How to start

Four ways in, from the free interview to a written request. You choose how much you tell us first.

  1. Where you stand

A few questions about your working day, and you see where you stand with AI and where a first step pays off. Free.

  2. Talk to Jules

20 minutes with Jules in person. You tell him where things get stuck, and he tells you honestly whether and how he can help. Free.

FAQ

Questions about Own It

What happens after handover?

For the first two weeks, your staff check every draft, internal ones included. Anything that goes outside your firm still needs a person’s approval (Approval means a person decides before an AI-prepared message goes outside your firm or money is spent.) after that. Before handover, we test the workflow (A workflow specifies what information goes in, what happens to it and who checks the result.) with data agreed in the quote and, with your permission, on a sample of your documents.

Two weeks after handover, we review how the setup works in daily use and what needs adjusting; for Basic Installation (Basic Installation is our smallest package at CHF 490.–: an installed AI harness, a vault template and one or two basic workflows on your computer.), this is a single check-in. At this review, we measure the figure we recorded with you at the start a second time. Pro Setup (Pro Setup is our recommended package at CHF 1'490.–: vault, workflows with AI agents, first integrations, an introduction session and three months of Business seat.) includes 30 days of follow-up support and Operator System (Operator System is our package for teams at CHF 3'500.– to 5'000.–: the shared base with workflows for the team and connected systems.) 60 days: questions and adjustments by email and phone.

After that, you can take out ongoing support as a separate agreement, at CHF 500.– to 2'000.– per month. It covers monitoring, basic maintenance, updates and one-to-one technical help within reason, such as finding a setting, getting something unstuck or giving advice.

Before handover, the checklist ‘Five questions before you commission AI automation’ helps you agree who looks after what afterwards.

What if something stops working after handover?

If something stops working after handover, email info@jules.solutions. During follow-up support (30 days for Pro Setup, 60 days for Operator System), or under a separate support agreement, the following applies: You get a first response within 2 hours, and we start handling your request within 24 hours. When Jules is away, a partner stands in and keeps the same response times of 2 and 24 hours.

If the setup does not match the written quote, we correct it at no extra cost, with no deadline. That also applies to Basic Installation. If something stops working because of a mistake on our side, in the setup or after an update of ours, we fix it at no cost and with no deadline. We are happy to fix problems caused by changes you or third parties make, such as a plugin you installed yourselves, at the hourly rate in your written quote, and only after your go-ahead.

Jules describes his responsibility like this: ‘I stand behind what we built and take responsibility when something goes wrong.’

Can we keep using the setup after handover without you?

The AI harness (An AI harness is the workspace on your computer in which AI reads files and carries out agreed steps.) runs on your device. Your working files are in the vault (The vault is a folder of your working files on your computer; we create it from the vault template.) on that device, and the accounts with your chosen providers belong to you. The handover document (The handover document records what we set up, how you work with it and how you back it up and restore it.) records what we installed. So another IT professional can carry on with it.

Pro Setup and Operator System also include platform (The AI agents we build for your firm run on our platform. We host the platform in Switzerland; external models may process data elsewhere.) access through a Business seat (The Business seat is one person’s access to our platform (open alpha); Pro Setup includes three months, and with Operator System it is six per person.) for a limited period. If you do not renew the Business seat after the included period, platform access ends. Your working files in the vault remain on your machine. What keeps running without the Business seat depends on the setup; the written quote states it.

What might I pay for after setup?

You pay once for the setup, at a fixed price. We put its scope and price in writing before work begins.

Running costs may include a Business seat, if your package includes one and its included months have ended (CHF 199.– per person per month, or CHF 169.– a month billed yearly, which is CHF 2'028.– a year), model usage (Model usage means accessing an AI provider’s language model. The cost is not included in the setup price.) (charged according to usage) and separately agreed support (CHF 500.– to 2'000.– per month). Other licences may cost extra.

For model usage, here are two examples of business plans for two or more people, as of October 2026, depending on plan and billing: ChatGPT Business: CHF 15.– to 19.–; Claude Team: USD 20.– to 125.–, each per person per month. Usage beyond what a plan includes costs extra. You choose the provider. If you prefer, we manage your account with the AI provider or provide API keys (An API key is a secret access code that lets a workflow use a service such as a language model.) where the provider’s licence allows it. We invoice you for the cost.

For an example of first-year costs, see ‘Additional costs’. ‘What does AI automation cost an SME? Setup and running costs’ shows how to calculate your costs using a worksheet.

Is this also for businesses outside trading and logistics?

Yes. If your team repeatedly copies details from emails and PDFs by hand, that work may be a good place to start with AI, whatever your sector. We know such tasks particularly well in commodity trading, logistics, forwarding, customs and compliance. The section ‘Four examples: what AI prepares and who checks it’ on the Solutions page shows four possible workflows.
