Four ways down the rabbit hole.
Projects, articles, guides and resources: go as deep as you like.
Where to start
From inbox to booking: one click, full control
Synsol AG is a Swiss commodity trading firm run by our co-founder Ole. There, one click in Outlook hands emails to an assistant. It does the routine work and stops wherever money moves or something goes outside the firm.
This site is live: what it does and what we ask of you
Today the new Jules Solutions website goes online. Here is what you will find on it, what ‘Where you stand’, the interview about your work, does, how the raffle works and what we ask of you. In short: you decide how far you go.
AI is changing the work. The apocalypse is a separate claim
Every few weeks someone predicts the end of office work, often with a date. I checked what these forecasts actually say, what is established, who benefits, and what you can do this week instead of waiting.
FAQ
What skills does your team need to use AI?
Is this also for businesses outside trading and logistics?
Yes. If your team repeatedly copies details from emails and PDFs by hand, that work may be a good place to start with AI, whatever your sector. We know such tasks particularly well in commodity trading, logistics, forwarding, customs and compliance. The section ‘Four examples: what AI prepares and who checks it’ on the Solutions page shows four possible workflows (A workflow specifies what information goes in, what happens to it and who checks the result.).
Do I need to know how AI works?
No. The interview asks about your work, not about AI. Every answer is saved the moment you give it, so you can stop any time and continue later, on another device too. You can also answer the first questions in conversation with our AI assistant (An AI assistant is a chat program such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity: you write in plain language, and a language model answers.).
Do staff need to write code or enter commands?
Staff do not need to write code. They start some workflows with a short command (A command starts a defined workflow. In Pro Setup, we set up three to five commands for your work.) we set up. Others start when an email arrives.
AI prepares a draft. Your staff check it, correct it if needed and approve it. At handover, we show them how to start workflows and check the results.
They use whatever suits them: the AI harness (An AI harness is the workspace on your computer in which AI reads files and carries out agreed steps.) on their device, the command line (The command line, also called the terminal, is a window in which you give the computer instructions by typing text instead of clicking.), a dashboard (A dashboard is an overview page, usually in the browser, that shows the state of tasks, results or figures at a glance.) or a desktop or web app. We set up what fits or use what you already have.
Will AI providers use our inputs to train their models?
That depends on the provider and your account. Under the terms available in October 2026, OpenAI (An AI provider runs language models and sells access to them, for example OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude) or Google (Gemini).), Anthropic and Google say they do not use inputs through paid API (An API is an interface through which one program uses the data or functions of another, without a screen or a mouse.) access for training by default. Anthropic says the same for business accounts such as Claude for Work. Free and personal accounts may have different terms. Check the terms for the account you will use.
If the chosen provider offers terms that exclude training on your inputs (In training, a language model learns from large amounts of text; some providers also use their users’ inputs for it.), we set up your access on those terms and show you the relevant clause before work begins.
If the model runs on your own hardware, your inputs are not sent to a model provider.
Must we use Claude Code or a particular provider?
No. The choice of AI harness, model and provider remains yours. Claude Code (Claude Code is an AI harness made by Anthropic: it runs on your computer, reads files and carries out steps you describe in plain language.) is an option, not a requirement. Your working files are in the installed vault (The vault is a folder of your working files on your computer; we create it from the vault template.) on your machine. If you use a cloud model (The cloud means computers in a provider’s data centres on which programs run and data is kept, instead of on your own device.), we discuss what content goes to its provider.
Start with the interview
From reading to your own workflow.
The free interview asks about your work, one question at a time. Your report shows where your time goes and where it pays to start.
No technical knowledge needed, no account. You can stop any time and continue later.
