Way 02 · Build It
Less pitch deck. More working thing.
We build around how your work happens, from an internal tool to a first product.
What it is for
‘Our existing software does not cover this workflow (A workflow specifies what information goes in, what happens to it and who checks the result.).’
‘We know what we want. It just does not exist yet.’
‘What we know about our customers lives in three people’s heads.’
‘Every day we type the same details from one program into the next.’
What we do
We start with one job and make it run. Then the next one, built on what the first one taught us.
Custom applications and internal tools
Sometimes it is something nobody sells, built around how your company actually runs: a tool for your team, a website or the system your business runs on.
Automation and system integrations (An integration connects your setup to software you already use, such as your email inbox.)
Wherever your people copy from an inbox to a spreadsheet to another program, a machine can do the copying. Often that means a tool that already exists, set up properly and connected to what you use.
AI-assisted workflows and prototypes
Workflows, agents (An AI agent carries out several steps of a defined task. A person decides before it sends anything outside your firm or spends money.) and skills (A skill is a written instruction for a specific AI task, such as checking invoice details.) do a job the way your team does it. Anything that sends, spends or signs waits for a person, who has the last word. A prototype shows early whether the idea holds.
Documentation, acceptance and handover
We agree beforehand what gets built and how we hand it over. You accept it, you get the documentation, and your team knows how to work with it.
The services in detail
You know what you want, and it does not exist yet. These services build it.
Custom applications and internal tools
Business systems
The system your business runs on, built around how you work.
You get
- Customer records, operations and tracking in one place
- A shared workspace your whole team works in
- The knowledge that lives in three people’s heads today, written down and easy to find
What we need from you
A scope that is really settled. Everybody in the room tends to underestimate this one, us included.
Custom applications and internal tools
Websites
A website in one of three shapes.
You get
- Static: fast, cheap to run, and you never need to log (A log records what a program or an AI agent did and when, so that afterwards you can trace who triggered what and what happened.) in to look after it
- With a content management system: you change the content yourself
- With a shop: you sell through it as well
What we need from you
Content, or a decision to pay for content.
Automation and system integrations
Any service, set up and connected
Any service that exists and works, set up, connected to what you already run, and explained: an AI provider (An AI provider runs language models and sells access to them, for example OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude) or Google (Gemini).), an API (An API is an interface through which one program uses the data or functions of another, without a screen or a mouse.), a SaaS tool, a GitHub (A Git repository is storage for files that records every change with its date and author; GitHub is a well-known service for it.) repository or anything else you use.
What we need from you
An account or a contract with the service.
AI-assisted workflows and prototypes
Workflows, agents, tools
The specific thing you asked for, built: a workflow, an agent, a tool, a database, an API.
You get
- What you asked for, built and running in your environment
- A gate before anything that sends, spends or signs: a person decides there
- Documentation and a handover to your team
What we need from you
Often the Setup first, because workflows, agents and skills land in your vault (The vault is a folder of your working files on your computer; we create it from the vault template.).
AI-assisted workflows and prototypes
Data analysis and machine learning
When a problem turns out to be one of numbers: your data finally answers the question you have been asking it.
What we need from you
Data that exists and can be reached.
AI-assisted workflows and prototypes
An agent machine on your premises
A computer in your building that runs your AI agents in sandboxes (A sandbox is a sealed-off area in which a program runs without reaching the rest of the system.).
You get
- The work stays on hardware you own
- A person has the last word on anything the agents send or spend
What we need from you
Somewhere to put it, power, network, and a decision about who looks after it.
Example
From practice
At Synsol AG, the commodity trading firm our co-founder Ole runs, one click in Outlook hands marked emails to an assistant. It recognises invoices and documents, files them, prepares the booking and stops wherever money moves or something leaves the firm.
A forwarder and its transport orders
An example, not a client case
‘Every client sends the transport order in a different format.’ The fields in it are the same whoever sends it, and so are the papers that follow.
The build is a system that reads the orders as they arrive, files each one against its shipment and drafts the next paper. Every field it could not fill is marked for a person.
And the Setup?
Setup recommended
We recommend a Setup, but it is not required. Workflows, agents and skills land in your vault, so for those the Setup usually comes first. We also build outside it, a website or a system of your own, for example; for those we settle the scope first.
What you end up with
A system built to the agreed scope, documented, accepted and handed over.
Price
By scope. A clearly bounded piece, a workflow or a website for example, is quoted as a whole; a larger system once its scope is really settled. The work and the price are in a binding written quote before we start.
How to start
Four ways in, from the free interview to a written request. You choose how much you tell us first.
Where you stand
A few questions about your working day, and you see where you stand with AI and where a first step pays off. Free.

FAQ
Questions about Build It
Can you connect the setup to our existing software?
In many cases, yes. We have already connected Bexio, Abacus, a transport management system and the MS Access database of a hand-built system, among many others. We first check your own systems to see whether a connection is possible and worthwhile. If we cannot help with your project, we will tell you.
The interview asks which software you use, such as Microsoft 365, SAP, Abacus or Bexio, and whether any of it is already connected. The written quote sets out what we agree to connect and which Excel files the workflow will use.
Check what your existing software can do before adding a connection. Read ‘The cheapest solution might already be installed’.
Who owns our data and the workflows you build?
Your data, files and accounts with your chosen providers belong to you. You receive a licence to use the workflows, AI task instructions (skills) and commands (A command starts a defined workflow. In Pro Setup, we set up three to five commands for your work.) we build for you. Jules Solutions retains the rights to that work. The written quote sets the terms of your licence.
Must we use Claude Code or a particular provider?
No. The choice of AI harness (An AI harness is the workspace on your computer in which AI reads files and carries out agreed steps.), model and provider remains yours. Claude Code (Claude Code is an AI harness made by Anthropic: it runs on your computer, reads files and carries out steps you describe in plain language.) is an option, not a requirement. Your working files are in the installed vault on your machine. If you use a cloud model (The cloud means computers in a provider’s data centres on which programs run and data is kept, instead of on your own device.), we discuss what content goes to its provider.
How much time should I allow?
The interview starts with five short questions, then up to ten about your task; how far you go after that is up to you. You can stop any time and continue later. A call with Jules takes 20 minutes and is free.
Handover takes about 1 day for Basic Installation (Basic Installation is our smallest package at CHF 490.–: an installed AI harness, a vault template and one or two basic workflows on your computer.), about 1 to 2 weeks for Pro Setup (Pro Setup is our recommended package at CHF 1'490.–: vault, workflows with AI agents, first integrations, an introduction session and three months of Business seat.) and about 3 to 6 weeks for Operator System (Operator System is our package for teams at CHF 3'500.– to 5'000.–: the shared base with workflows for the team and connected systems.). The quote fixes the date, so you know it before work begins.
What does setup cost?
Basic Installation: CHF 490.–. Pro Setup: CHF 1'490.– (recommended). Operator System: CHF 3'500.– to 5'000.–, depending on scope. For a team, we recommend Operator System as the shared base, plus one Pro Setup per person. You pay once for setup. The interview and the call with Jules are free.
We give you a binding written quote before work begins. For Operator System, it states the exact price within the CHF 3'500.– to 5'000.– range.
You can compare the scope of all three packages on the Solutions page.
