Definition

An AI harness is the workspace in which AI can read files and carry out steps. Claude Code (Claude Code is an AI harness made by Anthropic: it runs on your computer, reads files and carries out steps you describe in plain language.) is one of several options; we choose the harness, model and provider with you.

Your staff start a workflow in it with a short command and check the result wherever suits them: in the AI harness, on the command line (The command line, also called the terminal, is a window in which you give the computer instructions by typing text instead of clicking.), in a dashboard (A dashboard is an overview page, usually in the browser, that shows the state of tasks, results or figures at a glance.) or in a desktop or web app.

What it means for you

You are not tied to a tool: the AI harness, model and provider remain your choice. Each of our three packages starts with installing an AI harness on your computer. We set up the software on Windows and macOS.
