Way 04 · Teach It
The install button was only the beginning.
We set up existing software and train your team until it can run it itself.
What it is for
‘We have the tool, but we still use the spreadsheet.’
‘The tools are there. Our people cannot work with them yet.’
‘I have to make decisions about AI, and I want to stop guessing.’
What we do
It is done when your team understands it and runs it on its own.
Tool selection and implementation
Often the right tool already exists. We help you choose it and introduce it so it fits the people who work with it.
Configuration around real workflows (A workflow specifies what information goes in, what happens to it and who checks the result.)
We configure it around your workflows and seed it with first content, so your team does not sit in front of an empty tool.
Training with your actual use cases
We practise on your own tasks, not on textbook examples, remotely or on site, in German or English.
Usable documentation and a proper handover
You end up with a setup your team understands and runs itself, with documentation for everyday use.
The services in detail
The tools are there, or can be bought, but your people cannot work with them yet. These services set everything up and teach them.
Tool selection and implementation
Choose and introduce a tool
For a job your team does by hand or in a spreadsheet today: the right tool, chosen, configured and seeded with first content.
You get
- A choice that fits your people and your workflows
- The tool configured and seeded with first content
- An introduction on your own tasks
What we need from you
The people who will work with it, for the introduction.
Training with your actual use cases
Workshops
Your team for a day, on your own systems. By the evening it can do something it could not do that morning.
What we need from you
A decision about who is in the room. A workshop for the wrong five people is the most expensive way to do nothing.
Training with your actual use cases
Coaching
Regular time with someone who has built this kind of thing, on your actual problem rather than a curriculum. For you, if you make the decisions and want to stop guessing.
What we need from you
Nothing. This one needs nothing in place first.
Training with your actual use cases
Talks
A talk at your event or inside your company, on what is really working right now and what is not.
Example
An example follows once Jules has signed it off.
A chartering desk and its new tool
An example, not a client case
Three contracts count laytime on one ship, and they do not count it the same way. The laytime tool has been bought, yet the sums still happen in a spreadsheet.
We configure it around the desk’s own charter parties, practise with the team on real voyages and leave a guide the next person can start from without us.
And the Setup?
Setup recommended
We recommend a Setup, but it is not required. We work on your own tools or on a Setup, remotely or on site.
What you end up with
Tools your team understands and can operate itself, with usable documentation.
Price
By scope: a workshop by the day, coaching as single sessions or as a block, a talk per event. The work and the price are in a binding written quote before we start.
How to start
Four ways in, from the free interview to a written request. You choose how much you tell us first.
Where you stand
A few questions about your working day, and you see where you stand with AI and where a first step pays off. Free.

FAQ
Questions about Teach It
Do staff need to write code or enter commands?
Staff do not need to write code. They start some workflows with a short command (A command starts a defined workflow. In Pro Setup, we set up three to five commands for your work.) we set up. Others start when an email arrives.
AI prepares a draft. Your staff check it, correct it if needed and approve it. At handover, we show them how to start workflows and check the results.
They use whatever suits them: the AI harness (An AI harness is the workspace on your computer in which AI reads files and carries out agreed steps.) on their device, the command line (The command line, also called the terminal, is a window in which you give the computer instructions by typing text instead of clicking.), a dashboard (A dashboard is an overview page, usually in the browser, that shows the state of tasks, results or figures at a glance.) or a desktop or web app. We set up what fits or use what you already have.
Do I need to know how AI works?
No. The interview asks about your work, not about AI. Every answer is saved the moment you give it, so you can stop any time and continue later, on another device too. You can also answer the first questions in conversation with our AI assistant (An AI assistant is a chat program such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity: you write in plain language, and a language model answers.).
Do we need our own IT team?
No. We install the agreed setup and show your people how to use it. The handover document (The handover document records what we set up, how you work with it and how you back it up and restore it.) records what was installed and how the tools work together.
How much time should I allow?
The interview starts with five short questions, then up to ten about your task; how far you go after that is up to you. You can stop any time and continue later. A call with Jules takes 20 minutes and is free.
Handover takes about 1 day for Basic Installation (Basic Installation is our smallest package at CHF 490.–: an installed AI harness, a vault template and one or two basic workflows on your computer.), about 1 to 2 weeks for Pro Setup (Pro Setup is our recommended package at CHF 1'490.–: vault, workflows with AI agents, first integrations, an introduction session and three months of Business seat.) and about 3 to 6 weeks for Operator System (Operator System is our package for teams at CHF 3'500.– to 5'000.–: the shared base with workflows for the team and connected systems.). The quote fixes the date, so you know it before work begins.
Is this also for businesses outside trading and logistics?
Yes. If your team repeatedly copies details from emails and PDFs by hand, that work may be a good place to start with AI, whatever your sector. We know such tasks particularly well in commodity trading, logistics, forwarding, customs and compliance. The section ‘Four examples: what AI prepares and who checks it’ on the Solutions page shows four possible workflows.
