Definition

Whoever hosts something provides the servers, keeps them running and connects them to the internet. Where it is hosted decides in which country programs and stored data are kept.

What it means for you

We host our own services and data, such as our platform, in Switzerland. That does not automatically apply to third parties such as AI providers (An AI provider runs language models and sells access to them, for example OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude) or Google (Gemini).): if a model should also run in Switzerland, we settle this before work starts and record it in the quote.
