Definition

Backups are made at regular intervals, hourly or daily for example. If a device is lost or a file is overwritten by mistake, you restore the last saved state. A backup only helps if the restore is written down and tested.

What it means for you

We keep the backup of your vault wherever you want it: on your own infrastructure, on ours or with a cloud provider of your choice. At handover, we record how you back up and restore the vault.
